Hannah Jaramillo selected as Employee of Month at five-year career mark
Updated: Apr 9
Hannah Jaramillo has been selected as our Employee of the Month! Over the five years she's been with Morton Solar, Hannah has been involved in many roles from Sales & Marketing to her current role of Project Manager. She is passionate about renewable energy and ensures that each and every customer is informed during their solar journey.
But, there is much more to Hannah's story than her time spent with Morton Solar. While attending Castle High School in 2016, Hannah visualized and concepted a 'Solar Community Tree' that could symbolize what solar energy could do for our community and in harmony with nature. Her concept was submitted and won the very first University of Evansville's Changemaker Challenge! By winning this award, Hannah was given a full-ride scholarship to the University of Evansville along with her teammates.
But, Hannah wanted to make the tree a reality so she pursued funding from multiple sources and eventually obtained funding from Vectren Corporation for the seed money to build this tree in downtown Evansville in a wonderful place next to Mickey's Kingdom. And, throughout the entire process, Hannah served on committees and boards to help design Mickey's Kingdom and the wonderful family playground near the museum to help make our riverfront a beautiful place!
Today, Hannah volunteers for many groups and serves on the board for Leadership Everyone. One of her greatest aspirations is learning how to best love and serve Jesus Christ, and in turn, others. She strives to make our community a better place and helped Morton Solar become a Certified B Corporation.
Please send your congratulations to thanks to Hannah Jaramillo for being a force for good!
